(VOVworld) – Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan presented on Sunday gifts to patients at Yen Mo Mental Rehabilitation Center in Ninh Binh province. She asked the centre’s doctors and nurses to provide better care for all patients, especially war veterans. She also gave 60 gift sets to local Vietnamese heroic mothers, war veterans, and granted scholarships to poor children and children of war veterans and soldiers stationed in island and remote areas. Ms. Doan asked the local authorities to do their best to improve local living conditions, especially that of those who rendered great services to the nation.
