(VOVworld)- The Japanese Vietnamese Friendship Association on Saturday held the 3^rd Vietnam Agent Orange Day in Musashino Cultural House in Tokyo, Japan. This event, part of the Japanese Vietnamese Friendship Year, was aimed at sharing the pain with Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange. Under the theme “The war is not over”, the event’s organizer conveyed a message of peace giving the world a better view on the consequences of Agent Orange/dioxin spared by the US troops during the Vietnam war as well as incurable pain suffered by the victims. The event featured screenings and seminars on Agent Orange/dioxin and a charity concert. The highlight of the event was the screening of the documentary film dubbed “Agent Orange- A personal requiem”. On the occasion, volunteers of the Japanese Vietnamese Friendship Association raised fund by selling souvenirs and handcrafts made by Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange.
