Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific warn of fake air tickets
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific are warning people to watch out for fake air tickets after a number of Vietnamese guest workers in Japan coming home for Lunar New Year celebrations were reportedly cheated out of hundreds of thousands of USD.
A petition filed by the workers said that a person posing as a university lecturer in Hanoi took their orders for cheap air tickets and walked away with their money. Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific recommend passengers buy tickets on the carriers’ official websites and at authorized booking offices and ask for a receipt to avoid deception.
