Those entering Japan will only be permitted for working purpose. The  decision is part of Japan’s policy to ease a temporary suspension of entry procedures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Japan is imposing the rule to more than 100 countries and territories globally.

The allowed migrants must strictly follow medical regulations and checkup.

This comes after Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu stated that his nation is keen to begin easing entry for Vietnamese citizens due to the country successfully containing the epidemic.
