The Directive requires that the living standard of all revolutionary contributors’ families should be raised above the average level by 2020.

National Assembly Vice Chairman Do Ba Ty received a delegation of revolutionary contributors from Nam Dinh province on Wednesday in Hanoi. Mr. Ty said the Party, State, and National Assembly have paid special attention to paying debt of gratitude, considering it a key task to improve the living conditions of the families of invalids, war martyrs, and those who have rendered great services to Vietnam.

The same day, Head of the Party Central Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Truong Thi Mai visited and presented gifts to Vietnam’s heroic mothers and policy beneficiaries in Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province. Ms. Mai expressed her hope that the revolutionary contributors will continue to promote their revolutionary tradition to develop the homeland.

On Wednesday, the Vietnam Air Defense Force opened an exhibition to honor invalids and war martyrs. The exhibition will close by the end of this month.
