Vietnam attends International Day of Peace in Ukraine
(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Ambassador to Ukraine Nguyen Minh Tri attended a ceremony to mark International Day of Peace in Kremenchuk city, Poltava, Ukraine. Addressing the event, Ambassador Tri said peace, stability, and development are strong desires of human beings. He spoke of Vietnamese people’s courage and sacrifice in fighting for national freedom and dignity. Tri expressed his hope that peace will soon be restored in Ukraine so its traditional friendship and multi-dimensional partnership with Vietnam can be fostered.

Following the ceremony, Ambassador Tri met with Kremenchuk city’s First Deputy Mayor Viktor Kalashnyk and other local leaders. He was introduced to local strengths: metallurgy, agricultural production, and helicopter pilot training.
