(VOVworld) – The Ministry of National Defense yesterday held a conference to review the diplomatic achievements in national defence over the first half of the year.

According to the Ministry of National Defence,  Vietnam’s army has actively boosted friendship and cooperation with other countries helping raise the role and position of the country and its army in the regional and international arenas. Information and communication on national defense has seen improvement in various forms. Deputy Minister of Defense, Nguyen Chi Vinh said in the remaining half of this year, national defense diplomacy seeks the goals of independence, self-reliance, protection of sovereignty and socialism, building trust and advancing Vietnam and its army’s position in the international arena.
