Holding talk with Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China Lu Xinshe in Hanoi on Wednesday, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh lauded Guangxi province’s role in developing Vietnam-China cooperation, particularly in economy and trade. The Minister asked Guangxi authorities to facilitate customs clearance for Vietnamese agricultural products and propose the General Administration of Customs of China to grant import permission for Vietnam’s passion fruit, mangosteen, durian and sweet potato. He said that the move will serve as foundation for companies from both sides to promote business ties. Mr. Anh added: “Vietnam will continue to renovate its growth models and reforms in the context of international economic integration for sustainable development. Vietnam’s cooperation with China is an important foundation in Vietnam’s external relations and economic integration policy.”

They will discuss the promotion of delegation exchanges, connecting transport systems, building joint border economic zones, facilitating customs clearance at border gates and boosting tourism cooperation.
