At a meeting of the UN Security Council on Friday, Quy said hostile actions have threatened the lives of millions of Yemenis and damaged peaceful efforts of regional and global partners.

Ambassador Quy called on relevant parties to cease military activities, resume dialogue, and respect Yemen’s independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.  He urged for respect of the International Humanitarian Law and the UN Resolution 2573 on protecting civil infrastructure, and implementing the Stockholm Agreement and the Riyadh Agreement.
