Vietnam, Cambodia share experience in religious affairs

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam’s Government Committee for Religious Affairs and Cambodia’s Ministry of Cults and Religion shared their experience in religious affairs at a conference in Da Lat city on Friday. 

The Vietnamese delegation is led by Vu Chien Thang, Head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs and the Cambodian side is led by Ke Sam Oeun, Vice Secretary of State at the Ministry of Cults and Religions. Mr Thang addressed the conference: “In the context of developing friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia, their State agencies in charge of religious affairs have forged closer ties and achieved positive results. Today’s meeting provides a chance for us to share experience and learn lessons in state management of religions. By doing so, we will enhance our management capability and efficiency of religious affairs, contributing to maintaining social stability and national development.”
