This year, the event has 400 stalls, including 300 domestic and 100 foreign displays.

Nguyen Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of Mong Cai City’s People’s Committee, said: “The fair helps Vietnamese and Chinese seek partners, expand the market, promote business activities, boost investment, and develop tourism. By introducing each country’s unique culture, the fair deepens neighbourliness, friendship, and cooperation among border provinces for the development of each locality and each country.”

The week-long event is showcasing socio-economic achievements of both countries. It features a conference on importing agro-forestry-fisheries products and a tourism promotion forum which aims to lure greater investment in a tour connecting five cities of the two countries.
