A representative of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam said  this was also a pilot flight to evaluate the capacity of the post-COVID-19 aviation industry. The flight met strict prevention standards, and marked the effective coordination between airlines and health care and quarantine sectors.

Vietnam Airlines plans to resume flights between Vietnam and China, Taiwan (China), Laos, and Cambodia, as soon as it is approved by the Government and authorities.
