The Prime Minister has called for the resumption of an interdisciplinary team involving the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, National Defense, Health, Public Security, and Transport, to weigh every single foreign expert who wants to come to Vietnam during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Quoc Phuong said his Ministry has been planning out solutions since February to support businesses through this hard time. Other ministries have joined the effort. Phuong said, “The State Bank of Vietnam in 2020 issued a number of circulars on debt and interest rate restructuring. The Ministry of Finance proposed that the Government issue Decree 52 this year to continue to extend the payment deadline for value added tax, corporate income tax, personal income tax, and land tax. More entities are now subject to these changes.”
