Vietnam contributes to Human Rights Council’s 60th session
(VOVWORLD) - The 60th session of the Human Rights Council (HRC60) on Wednesday concluded its 60th regular session after adopting 35 resolutions, two decisions, and one President’s Statement.

During the course of five weeks, Vietnam actively participated in and made practical contributions to the session, including drafting and presenting a joint statement on promoting the right to vaccination and immunization, which received widespread support and were co-sponsored by 51 countries.
At the session, Vietnamese delegates delivered statements and contributed to topics such as youth and human rights, the impact of climate change on the human rights, access to clean water and sanitation, and the rights of older persons. The Vietnamese delegates shared solutions to protect vulnerable groups that Vietnam has implemented and reaffirmed Vietnam’s consistent policy of promoting and protecting the rights of all people.
Vietnam played a role in bilateral and multilateral consultations with other countries’ delegations, and contributed to the drafting of important documents. It co-sponsored numerous initiatives and delivered joint statements in the spirit of dialogue and cooperation.
