“The Vietnam-Cuba relationship is special, unprecedented and represents the role model for international relations” and “For Vietnam, Cuba is willing to donate all our blood!” are a few examples of impressive statements Fidel Castro made about Vietnam.
“During Vietnam’s resistance war, Cuba provided spiritual and material support, helping Vietnam expand relations with American countries. Vietnam and Cuban treated each other as brothers and sisters. As Fidel said Vietnam-Cuba relations are exemplary in international relations in modern world”, said Nguyen Duy Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association.
"Communications should be intensified, particularly among the younger generations to further future bilateral relationships. The Vietnamese Party and State once said 'Helping Cuba is an order from the heart'", Mr. Cuong added.
