Vietnam, Egypt to boost trade, investment cooperation

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA) held a workshop in Cairo on Monday to look into business potential and strengthen business connectivity between the two countries.

Enterprises agreed to regularly hold trade conferences, exhibitions, and direct dialogues. Vietnam and Egypt have cooperation potential in oil, gas, banking, and especially tourism, which is booming in both countries.  

The Egyptian Businessmen’s Association took the trade promotion workshop as an opportunity to exchange information and discuss solutions to support businesses. It said it is confident about a dramatic surge in bilateral trade, which totaled 470 million USD in 2018.
