Vietnam elected to UPU Postal Operations Council
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam was elected to the Postal Operations Council of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) for the 2022-2025 term at the 27th UPU Congress, which was held in a combined in-person (in Abidjan, Ivory Coast) and online format from August 9 to August 27.

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dang Hoang Giang, said, “This success demonstrates Vietnam's position and role in the international arena and the international community’s recognition for Vietnam’s its contributions to global issues. It also shows the image of a dynamic, positive Vietnam and its eagerness to serve as a trustworthy and responsible member of the world community. This election success also serves as an example for foreign policy collaboration between ministries and branches.”
