Vietnam enhances multifaceted relations with Australia

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne expressed their delight at the strong development of the Vietnam-Australia strategic partnership, despite difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in the recent past.

During Thursday’s phone call, Minister Son applauded Australia's announcement that it will give Vietnam COVID-19 vaccines for children, in addition to the 7.8 million doses it has already donated. The valuable and timely help of the Australian Government will accelerate Vietnam's vaccination rollout, he said. 

The two ministers said full reopening of the two countries will promote bilateral relations, especially in delegation and people-to-people exchanges, trade, agriculture, and labor.
