Under the contract with Smartfood, 10,000 portions will be provided each year for 10 years. Deputy Head of Sao Viet Vu Tien Viet said this is the first time a Vietnamese company has managed to sign such a big deal with Smartfood. The foreign partner wants to introduce to Vietnam Russia’s quick freezing technique for preserving fresh fruits, vegetables and other foods, which will be used to produce ready-cooked meals and export them to Russia.
