Vietnam Fatherland Front promotes reforms for higher efficiency

(VOVworld) - Vietnam Fatherland Front President Nguyen Thien Nhan highlighted several important contents to be implemented by the front before the end of this year at a conference in Hanoi on Tuesday. The conference gathered leaders of VFF committees in 63 cities and provinces nationwide to evaluate VFF operations over the first six months of 2015 and map out a direction for the remaining months.

High on the agenda are issues regarding religions, and ethnic minorities and changing a campaign on building cultural life in residential areas into a campaign on building new rural areas and urban areas in line with the criteria of Vietnam’s new rural development program. Nhan called for innovative solutions to mobilise human resources to effectively implement movements and campaigns launched by the Front.
