At the 8^th conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday, Mr. Phuc said the Front has done a good job in social oversight and criticism to help build a stronger Party and government:        “Over the past years, the government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front have worked closely with each other. In 2017, our coordination was elevated, particularly in social oversight and criticism with a focus on settling people’s complaints and petitions, publicizing inspection results, developing science and technology, ensuring food safety, protecting people’s legitimate rights and interests, and carrying out movements. Both the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the government work for the people. Oversight is necessary to make our system better serve people.”

The Prime Minister called on the Front to oversee administrative reform and business environment improvement. He also underlined the building of a facilitating and incorruptible government to serve people and encourage people’s contributions to socio-economic development.
