The five-day event will discuss sustainable development and international integration for Vietnamese cinema in the new era. Four award categories are feature films, documentaries, science films, and animated films.
Director of the Department of Cinema of Vietnam Dang Tran Cuong said: “The festival will see leaders from 34 provincial, municipal departments of culture, sports, and tourism, as well as local centers who will share their experiences in attracting film crews to their localities. This year, we also have two new award categories, which will honor Vietnamese and foreign individuals for their significant contributions to Vietnam’s cinema.”
The festival will feature two seminars on developing Vietnam’s film industry and film crews, as well as a photo exhibition, art performances, and fan-meeting with filmmakers.
