Vietnam football squad aim to win AFF Cup 2022
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese male national footballers have geared up preparation for the Southeast Asian Football Championship (AFF Cup 2022) to take place from December 23 to January 16.

During a press conference in Hanoi on Tuesday, Coach Park Hang-seo said that the goal of his team is to win the AFF Cup. The tactics have not changed much, but the organisation must be improved, especially in the defensive set-up, he added. This will be the last tournament Mr. Park takes on as the head coach of the Vietnam team.
The squad will take on Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund at the My Dinh National Stadium in a friendly match next Wednesday. After the match, the team will move to Ba Ria Vung Tau for training from December 2-10 as they gear up for the friendly match against the Philippines in Hanoi scheduled on December 14 before finalization of the squad member roster.
