Vietnam, France boost cooperation in intellectual property

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam wants to learn from France’s experience in innovation and intellectual property (IP) rights, especially ways to help small and medium-sized enterprises commercialise IP and manage geographical indications and other certificates.

This was the main focus of a delegation from the Ministry of Science and Technology during their 4-day visit to France to study management models, mechanisms, and policies to boost innovation and IP.

The delegation, led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Giang, had working sessions with France’s National Industrial Property Institute and France’s National Institute for Origin and Quality.
