(VOVWORLD) - The Department of Overseas Labour under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) has announced that it will stop sending workers to Malaysia until the end of this year.
The decision was made amid complicated COVID-19 developments across Malaysia that has forced the country to implement its travel restrictions until December 31, 2020.
The Department of Overseas Labour has asked businesses involved to address any problems related to Vietnamese workers in Malaysia, including informing them of Malaysia’s regulations on COVID-19 while guiding them on necessary preventive measures to protect themselves.
