Vietnam, Hungary foster parliamentary partnership
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has praised Hungary’s support for Vietnam in boosting cooperation with the European Union (EU), including accelerating the early signing and ratification of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

Ms. Ngan received visiting Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, Jakab Istvan in Hanoi on Thursday.
She said Vietnam is ready to serve as a bridge connecting Hungary to ASEAN - a dynamic and great potential market with more than 600 million people.
Mr. Istvan reaffirmed Hungary’s support for the EVFTA, adding that his country is making every effort to expand cooperation with Vietnam, especially in pharmaceuticals and high-quality agriculture.
