Vietnam, India bolster tourism cooperation
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and India have a great potential for closer tourism cooperation, as they have a long-standing friendship and similar cultural values, said Vietnam’s Ambassador to India Pham Sanh Chau at the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Roadshow jointly held in India on Wednesday by the Vietnamese Embassy in India and the VFS Global Company.

Ambassador Chau said direct flights between the two nations by the end of this year will lend momentum to people-to-people exchanges and bilateral trade and investment. He said tourism and people-to-people exchanges are pillars of the Vietnam-India comprehensive strategic partnership and help to promote mutual understanding and trust.
