At the dialogue, the two sides discussed the world and regional situation and issues of mutual concern and agreed to continue to closely coordinate to boost future cooperation.

Both stressed the need to strengthen the exchange of delegations at all levels, especially high-level delegations; regularly maintain dialogue and consultation mechanisms; and enhance cooperation in training, UN peacekeeping, and defense industry.

Both sides agreed on promoting credit packages and non-refundable aid packages; studying the possibility of cooperation in potential areas such as cyber security, military medicine, and search and rescue in accordance with the needs and response capabilities of both sides.

At the end of the dialogue, Senior General Hoang Xuan Chien and Indian Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh signed the minutes of the dialogue.
