Ngoc Anh said political and economic cooperation will continue to be key cooperation and there is still room for further development of the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Malaysia. She also stressed the need to focus on cooperation in tourism, people-to-people exchanges, education and labor.

“The good bilateral relationship has created a very solid premise for cooperation between the two countries at regional and global forums. Vietnam and Malaysia have regularly exchanged information and supported each other in organizations and forums of which both are members such as ASEAN, the UN, and World Trade Organization (WTO)."

"Within the ASEAN framework, Vietnam and Malaysia are both active and responsible members. They pledged to work closely with other ASEAN member countries in maintaining and promoting ASEAN's solidarity and centrality, ensuring the full and effective implementation of the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 as well as related strategies and initiatives aimed at building the ASEAN community," said Ngoc Anh.
