(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Japan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on human resources training as part of the fifth phase of the “Vietnam – Japan joint initiative”. The document was signed on Tuesday in Hanoi by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Japan Business Association. Addressing the event, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said Japan is strong in science-technology, which will be maximized in Vietnam by local labor force. The MoU seeks to boost cooperation in providing human resources in Vietnam, promote Japanese investment in Vietnam, and improve the investment environment.
