(VOVworld) – A seminar took place in Hanoi on Tuesday to discuss ways to help Vietnamese women suffered from sexual violence access justice.

The event also aimed to offer an opportunity for all to know the current situation of sexual violence and put forth recommendations for the Justice Ministry, the Ministry of Public Security, the People’s Supreme Procuracy, and People’s Supreme Court to consolidate the national judicial system.

The seminar is part of the global campaign’s16 days call for action to end violence against women and girls initiated by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
