Vietnam, Laos give top priority to bilateral ties

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and Laos affirmed that they consider bilateral relations a top priority at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh and Lao Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Saleumxay Kommasith at the UN General Assembly session in New York last week.

The two expressed a determination to implement agreements reached by their senior leaders and the outcomes of the 44th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Inter-Governmental Committee.

They said the two countries will work closely in organising delegation exchanges at all levels and strengthen their coordination and mutual support at international, regional and sub-regional forums.
