(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Laos will host a ceremony on July 9 to mark the completion of the demarcation of their shared border. The ceremony also celebrates the inauguration of marker No. 460 at the Thanh Thuy-Nam On border crossing between Vietnam's Nghe An province and Laos' Borikhamxay province. Vietnam’s Prime Mister Nguyen Tan Dung and his Lao counterpart Thoongsing Thammavong will attend the ceremony. The completion of border demarcation will promote economic and social development of border areas and symbolize a border of peace, friendship, and cooperation for mutual development.
