Vietnam looks to foster cooperation with Bulgaria

(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu has urged Bulgarian Minister of Justice Tsetska Tsacheva to further support the cooperation between the two countries and their Ministries and Justice.

At a meeting with the Bulgarian Minister on Friday during his trip to the country, Mr. Luu praised Ms Tsacheva’s great contributions to bilateral ties. Ms Tsacheva said Bulgaria is accelerating judicial reform and is ready to share its experience with Vietnam.

At a meeting with Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova the same day, Mr. Luu highlighted the cooperation potential between Sofia and Vietnamese localities. He called on Sofia leaders to support activities to boost economic, trade and tourism cooperation between the two countries. Ms Fandakova promised to facilitate the two countries’ businesses to seek cooperation opportunities.

The same day, Mr. Luu met Mr. Valeri Giablianov, President of the Bulgaria Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Group and Mr. Simeon Dimchev. President of the Bulgaria-Vietnam Friendship Association.
