(VOV) – Vietnam opposes the Chinese Department of Fisheries’ ban on fishing in the East Sea. Foreign Ministry spokesman Luong Thanh Nghi responded Tuesday to reporters’ questions about China’s fishing ban in the East Sea between May 16 and August 1. He pointed out that Vietnam’s stance on this issue was clearly announced on January 20, adding that Vietnam opposes China’s unilateral decision and considers it invalid.
