(VOVworld)- Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has highlighted the significance of chemistry development in the current era of the rapid development of science and technology. Speaking at the closing of the 46th International Chemistry Olympiad, the Prime Minister said Vietnam considers education and training in science and technology its top national priority. He said the Vietnamese government always pays attention to and honors talents in chemistry. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said the International Chemistry Olympiad had created an opportunity to discover and honor talents in chemistry and boost chemistry science development: “Students are the masters of the competition- a competition in which we are all the winners. You have overcome the challenges of the competition and had beautiful days together in friendship and unity. The future of the world depends on you. I believe that all the participants in this competition will become outstanding chemists, talented leaders and managers who will contribute to their national development and also cooperation between nations”.
