Vietnam plays important role internationally: Indian politician
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has elevated its position and gained several important achievements globally, most notably in economy, diplomacy, and defense, said former Deputy National Security Advisor of India SD Pradhan in an interview with a VNA correspondent in New Delhi, India.

To maintain the momentum of 2024 and obtain greater achievements in 2025, he proposed Vietnam continue its economic and external affairs policies and pay more attention to security.
Economically, Vietnam should focus on renewable energy and create trading centers by developing seaports.
Vietnam should also pay attention to the benefits from the Mekong River and exploit marine mineral resources to ensure sustainable development, SD Pradhan said.
