Receiving Vincent Clerc, CEO of the Danish shipping giant, in Hanoi, Mr. Lam affirmed that Vietnam is ready to create favorable conditions for foreign investors to develop logistics projects that connect regions, major cities, and industrial zones.

He noted that Vietnam is among the world’s top 20 economies in terms of international trade and is accelerating efforts to build a comprehensive, modern, and seamless transport infrastructure system to enhance its competitiveness.

Mr. Clerc stressed that Vietnam remains a key partner for Maersk, recalling that the company’s vessels first docked at Vietnamese ports more than a century ago. He said Maersk is seeking opportunities to invest in large, modern, and green container ports, along with strategic logistics projects across the country.
