Vietnam reaps high results at international chemistry Olympiad

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnamese students won three gold and one silver medals at the 49th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) that has concluded in Thailand.

This is the highest achievements Vietnam has obtained at an International Chemistry Olympiad.
Three golds went to Dinh Quang Hieu, a 12th grader, and Pham Duc Anh, an 11th grader, from the High School for Gifted Students - University of Natural Sciences, the Vietnam National University, Hanoi; and Nguyen Bang Thanh Lam, a 12th grader from the Amsterdam High School in Hanoi. This year’s competition saw the participation of 297 students from 76 nations and territories.
