Vietnam records 12,680 more COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

(VOVWORLD) - From 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Vietnam recorded an additional 12,663 domestic COVID-19 cases and 17 imported cases.

Domestic cases were confirmed in 39 provinces and cities, in which, Ho Chi Minh City had the most cases with 7,308, Binh Duong 3,172 cases and Dong Nai 814 cases. Hanoi recorded 40 cases.

On Wednesday, Vietnam had 13,937 more patients declared cured of COVID-19, but 335 patients died.

Vietnam has so far recorded a total of 563,676 cases of COVID-19. 322,873 patients have recovered and 14,135 others have died.

9 out of 63 provinces and cities have passed 14 days without any new cases: Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Lai Chau, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen, Dien Bien, and Vinh Phuc.
