Vietnam records 4,795 new COVID-19 infections Tuesday ​

(VOVWORLD) - The Health Ministry announced 2,640 cases of coronavirus on Tuesday evening, bringing the total count in the day to 4,795.

HCM city continued to lead the caseload with 3,322 infections.

The latest cases were also detected in 34 other localities, including Binh Duong (578), Dong Nai (162), Tien Giang (133), Dong Thap (66), Da Nang (61), Khanh Hoa (53), and Hanoi (46).

Vietnam has confirmed 62,820 cases including 59,165 recorded since the 4th COVID-19 wave hit the country on April 27.
