Vietnam reports 502 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday

(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Health said that Vietnam on Wednesday recorded 502 cases of COVID-19, a slight decrease compared to Tuesday.

Since the onset of the pandemic, Vietnam’s caseload has hit 11,509,975, ranking 13 out of 230 countries and territories, while with the ratio of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 117.

In the past 24 hours, an additional 143 recoveries were announced, raising the total number of recoveries to 10,606,299. There was 1 death in Can Tho on Wednesday after 9 consecutive days without COVID-19 deaths.

Vietnam has so far administered 262,802,841 doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
