Vietnam, RoK foster naval cooperation
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) have enjoyed effective defence cooperation over the years, said Deputy Defence Minister Van Giang.

Mr. Giang, who is also Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, made the statement in Hanoi on Thursday while receiving Admiral Um Hyun-seong, RoK’s chief of Naval Operations. General Giang said the partnership between the two navies has strengthened friendship between Vietnam and the RoK.
