(VOVworld)- Military ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea have seen positive recent developments. Deputy Defense Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh, and his Korean counterpart Lee Young-geol reached a consensus in Hanoi on Monday at the first defense strategy dialogue at the deputy minister level between the two countries. They agreed that military relations have conformed to the overall strategic partnership by which the two countries are bound and co-operation in national defense will continue in the future. A second dialogue has been scheduled for next year in the Republic of Korea.
