(VOVworld) – Vietnam and South Africa have adopted a 24-article draft agreement on criminal judicial assistance in a just-concluded negotiation in Pretoria city.
The agreement stipulates procedures of judicial assistance in transferring procedural documents, collecting testimonies and evidence, and blockading illegal property. Le Tien, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Vietnamese Supreme People's Procuracy, said that the agreement will improve the legal framework to combat and prevent crimes while intensifying Vietnam-South Africa cooperation and partnership.
