Vietnam, South Korea open first international fine arts exhibition

(VOVWORLD) -116 fine-art works by Vietnamese and South Korean painters are exhibited in Hanoi, featuring people, their daily life, and beautiful landscape of each country.

The exhibition was opened in Hanoi on Wednesday by the Vietnam Fine Arts Association (VFAA) and the KIRO Art Association of South Korea. VFAA Chairman Tran Khanh Chuong addressed the opening ceremony: “The exhibition is initiated by the KIRO Art Association of South Korea. In recent years, the two countries have jointly held many fine-art exhibitions in Ngo Quyen Gallery and in South Korea Culture Center. This event strengthens friendship between the two peoples.”

The exhibited paintings were drawn in different materials and styles, like parallel sentences, woodblock, oil and canvas, and lacquer.
