Vietnam to conduct economic census in 2021
(VOVWORLD) - A nationwide economic census will be carried out in Vietnam in 2021 to create the foundation for the country’s future socio-economic development plans.
A recent decision by the Prime Minister said that the census will cover all forms of businesses, religious establishments, and foreign NGOs, among others. It will also collect information about incomes, R&D, innovations, Industry 4.0, and international economic integration.
The census will take place in two phases with the preliminary results to be announced in December 2021. The official results will be released in the second quarter of 2022.
