Vietnam to obtain one of world’s highest growth rates in 2021
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s economic growth is expected among the highest in the world next year, according to a workshop in Hanoi on Tuesday on economic reform for sustainable growth and resilience in post COVID-19.

Director of the Central Institute for Economic Management Tran Thi Hong Minh said international organizations hailed Vietnam as one of a few countries that have contained the epidemic and reduced its impact on the economy.
The government’s measures and achievements in the past few years have created a firm foundation for the macro-economy and improved its resilience.
Workshop delegates highlighted advantages for Vietnam to maintain and improve its supply capacity such as successful epidemic containment, macro-economic, financial and monetary stability, an improved business environment, and enhanced investment activities. Vietnam remains a reliable party in restructuring the global value chain, they said.
