The WTA has been called the “travel industry’s equivalent of the Oscars” by the Wall Street Journal.
Vietnam’s Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81 hotel won the most award – “World's Leading City Hotel", "World's Top Wedding and Conference Hotel", and "World's Leading River Hotel".
Sun World Ba Na Hill Resort won 2 awards - "World's Top Iconic Tourist Attraction" and "World's Top Iconic Tourist Bridge".
InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort won the "World's Leading Green Resort" award.
JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort won the "World's Leading Luxury Wedding Resort" award.
Sun World Phansipan Legend won the "World's Top Cultural Tourism Attraction" award.
Premier Village Danang Resort, operated by AccorHotels Vietnam, won the "World's Leading Family Villa Resort" award.
National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines was honored as "World's Leading Cultural Airline".
Viettravel was awarded the title "World's Leading Tour Operator" and Van Don International Airport was named "World's Leading Regional Airport".
