Vietnam treasures friendship with Israel
(VOVWORLD) -President Tran Dai Quang has called for greater efforts to realize commitments made during Israeli President Reuven Rivlin’s recent visit to Vietnam, contributing to deepening ties between the two countries.
President Quang told outgoing Israeli Ambassador Meirav Eilon Shahar that Vietnam attaches importance to promoting friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Israel. He said he hopes that Ms. Shahar, in her new position, will continue to be a bridge linking Israel and Vietnam. Ambassador Shahar conveyed President Rivlin’s invitation to visit Israel to President Quang.
